OUR RETURNS POLICY

For a limited time only, People Tree is offering free returns through Royal Mail on all orders in the United Kingdom.

We want you to feel completely happy with your People Tree products. Our clothing and accessories are made with great care by highly skilled artisans. Over the last few years, the People Tree design team has worked closely with our Fair Trade producers to improve the fit, quality and style of our products. We listen carefully to feedback from customers and are continually working to improve our service. We want you to feel confident when you shop with People Tree.

If you are not satisfied with the fit, style or quality of a product when it arrives, there is no problem. You can return or exchange an item 14 days of receipt. We will give you back the amount you paid for the item, or offer an exchange, whichever you prefer. Our Customer Service team is happy to help you set up an exchange to find the Fair Trade fashion style that is just right for you. We pride ourselves on offering friendly, personal customer service.

Please note, as many of our products are made by hand, slight variations in size, colour or print are normal. We cannot exchange earrings for reason of hygiene unless they are faulty. You also have the right to cancel your purchase entirely if you let us know in writing within 7 days of receipt and return all the items. If you cancel your purchase in this way under the Distance Selling regulation, we will refund your total purchase amount.

HOW TO RETURN

Wrap the unused item securely in its original package. Complete Returns Form supplied with your delivery and enclose in the package. Can't find the Returns Form? You can download and print a new UK Returns Form here. To exchange a product, please feel in the details for the exchange on the Returns Form. We appreciate any feedback that you may have about a product, so please be sure to fill in the returns form in full.

UK RETURNS BY ROYAL MAIL

Please remember to ask the Post Office for your proof of posting certificate and retain it for your reference until you have received your refund. The Post Office will stamp this and supply a tracking reference number to prove the item(s) have been returned. Without this we cannot process a refund if we do not receive the returned item.

Please send all returns to the free post address provided on the Returns Form.

UK RETURNS BY COLLECT+

People Tree has partnered with Collect Plus to make returns for our United Kingdom as convenient as possible. There are Collect+ drop points in over 5500 stores across the UK, most of which are open until late, 7 days a week. This means you can return your items at a time and a place that suits you.

  1. Find your nearest Collect+ store by texting COLLECT and your postcode to 84555 (texts are charged at your standard network rate) or by visiting Collect Plus
  2. Complete the Collect+ returns label online including your order reference number and attach it to your parcel.
  3. Take your parcel to one of over 5500 stores offering Collect+. You will receive proof of postage and a code to track your return online.

RETURNS OF INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

If an item you have purchased is unsatisfactory, you can return it within 14 days of receipt for refund of the cost of your goods. Goods are returned to People Tree at your expense unless the goods are faulty.
